Why Personal Training?Personal training helps establish personalized programs that are practical, efficient, safe, and successful by providing information to clients on nutrition and fitness education, proper posture and exercise technique, cardiovascular and strength training, body composition, and flexibility development. In addition, personal training is available to accommodate individuals with chronic health problems, or those seeking more rigorous physical training, such as athletes, body builders, and high level exercisers.

Consultation A consultation is a free hour and a half meeting with our operational manager and personal trainer in your home where you can discuss your fitness goals and expectations. Based on this, along with your health and fitness history, your personal trainer can make recommendations on future exercise program options. The trainer will also evaluate your current level of fitness via a specialized fitness assessment. Knowing these variables can be an invaluable tool when developing a fitness plan or when looking at the impact your fitness level has on your quality of life now and into the future. The assessments consist of optional tests that measure resting heart rate, height and weight, flexibility, muscular strength and endurance, body composition, measurements, and aerobic capacity.

In-Home Personal TrainingEach personal training session is an hour long training session where your personal trainer works one-on-one with you, usually on a regular basis (i.e. 2-3 times week). Each workout is created by your personal trainer based on your goals, health history, and fitness level. The workout is performed in your home or at an outdoor location nearby. No equipment necessary. The trainer will bring the equipment as long as you bring the motivation.
An Example Workout Day: 5min Warm-Up 5min Dynamic Stretching (catered to WOD) 20-45min Skill Work + Workout of the Day 5min Rest, Water, Recover, Chat 10-15min Extra Skill Work/Balance/Core Strengthening 10min Cool Down + Static Stretching

Payments Typically all payments must be made in advance for all services or before the first session of a package, however we provide extremely flexible payment plans for just about any budget. All payment must be made by cash or check.
Cancellations If a client cancels less than 12 hours in advance of a training session, he/she will be charged for a session, and not reimbursed.
If a client cancels less than 12 hours in advance of a free consultation appointment, he/she will forfeit his/her free consultation.
If a trainer cancels less than 12 hours in advance of a scheduled appointment or fails to show without providing a suitable substitute, the trainer will provide a free session in addition to the make-up session. |
